Are you swapping it all over to the other shell?

I will highly consider the notchback bare shell if you ever get rid of it

Yup doing a shell swap, drift, smash it, whatever
    ADM for easy rego!

Priority is to drive a ae86, so this is the fastest and what I call 'easiest way' to get where I want to be.

    Sounds like a good plan!

Looks like a pretty neat shell to swap into also.

It's not too bad as a basher, still straight, rust, just like JDM ae86 drifters for the fan boys

Yeah big use for the notch, shell will be kept in storage.

Hatch is a fair go, good enough while the notch will be slowly rubbed down, fixed what's needed, resprayed to new colour, and then we'll see what happens from then.

Friday night and weekend is going to be busy, stripping the coupe and swapping everything to the hatch and hope for the best, car should start with a turn of the key.

the green machine had a major surgery, now has everything from the coupe.
First turn of the key, and what do you know, the car starts first go! Just like how it's suppose too!!
Spent $200 on engine, gear box and LSD oil<-- all castrol stuff, brake fluid and radiator fluid. All 4L bottles so that explains why it wasn't cheap lol

Anyways half the interior is back in already so tonight, service the engine and gear box, if I work fast enough the 2way diff will be swapped and serviced at the same time into the green machine then a quick test drive to make sure all transmission is working then rego it before Christmas as everything will be closed.. Got the green machine running in 2nights and 1 day of labour..not bad for a 1 man project with 30 min of help lol

Did I mention the sun roof works?! This rust bucket is full of win

Didn't get too much done yesterday

Front end looks like a levin again, guards, headlights, front bar, bonnet on..looks tough I think
Took out the S diff from the ADM and surprisingly all the standard arms on the S diff had been rebushed already and couldn't be more then a few months old in use so I left the arms to use with the T diff.
It also had the shocks replaced with some KYB gear and again, still new and works great, good as spare I guess

Finished off the exhaust system too
Left to do is drop the T diff from the coupe and transfer to the hatch
Change the rusted hatch with a spare hatch with a little lest rust
Vacuum the inside and plastic interior to be installed to look decent
    Swap the front suspension over
    Bleed the brakes
    Wheel alignment and rego
Skids and pictures of good times to follow
