Yeah sorta figured that =S but things such as brakes? Struts? Etc etc etc and does the engineer need the receipt of the engine that's already in the car?

I did one in Sa
With the brakes They wanted disc rear end
I also had upgraded fronts
Even if they don't ask for it I would be doing a brake upgrade. I wouldent enjoy a ze with stock adm brakes

last time I checked the requirment for a brake upgrade was when you have over a 1.6x fold power increase

Thanks guys the car is now in my possession, Iv spoken with a mates engineer and he advised me their should be no problem with the engine bacause between the 4ac and 4agze, their both in the 4a family, everything pretty much up to scratch besides,
- Cluster dont work except speedo
- Springs have been chopped
- No airbox or pod
- And a few cracked lenses on indicators
I know nothing about supercharger and iv heard something about adding supercharger oil or something, could someone please fill me in on this?

Sounds like he's given you things that are more Road Worthy certificate related rather a Engineers Certificate.
He is however correct(from what i've heard) - A vehicle that has been released with different engines from the same family on the same chassis won't require engineers certificates for a engine swap done after it's release from factory.
No, unless that engine was released in that chassis in Australia then you need an engineers certificate in Victoria.
This has been discussed to death before. There are many "solutions" and work arounds, but by the letter of the law that's what's required. All the info can (or could last time I checked) be found on the Vicroads website, and has been linked to from here previously (if you have a search the previous threads should turn up).

If it's any help, my car was engineered by the joint next to toyospares in bayswater. Car had to have a brake upgrade in order to pass as well. The certificates are only valid for 30 days and pretty much only usefull for registration purposses
If you don't mind, how much did they charge?
