For those in Queensland, some of you, I assume, are probably unaware of the State Government's plans to scrap the fuel subsidy in the July budget. Without this subsidy, fuel will become approximately 9c/litre more expensive and registration costs on all vehicles will increase. The RACQ is doing an online poll/petition which they intend to send to Premier Bligh objecting the scrapping of the subsidy.

they call it a subsidy, but they arnt giving money back as you pointed out Henry, they are just taking a bit less.

its all bligh, she is basically running the state into the ground, has been for 11 odd years, and is struggling to make what comes out her mouth match up with whats in the kitty. So she has been trying to get her money back, creeping up the money on the toll, putting more traffic police out, getting rid of any subsidys she can find etc.

in other words shes an asshole.

Done. i only get fuel on wednesdays! havent payed over 99c last 4 weeks in a row
then BAM thursday goes to $1.20 (use and drive past the same servo every day)
