Ya, I bought a 16v a/c kit off marvis, and the 16 valve a/c compressor bolts up but dosent line up with the balancer correctly so i was hoping to get the origional blacktop one with the rest of the kit and use the tensioner on the b/t bracket. (no power steering)
I havent mucked around with a/c before but i would assume it should work

I just finished with this conversion, if you use the 20v compressor bracket you need to modify it to suit the rear wheel drive bracket and also you have to use the 20v compressor. You can't fit a 20v compressor onto a 16V bracket and vice-versa as the bolt spacing is different. The only way to use the original compressor is with the 16V compressor and then use the 16V pulley with 3mm shaved off the face. I can do this for $10 if you want it. You need a RWD pulley though

I dont quiet understand, why do you need to modify the 20v bracket to suit the rear wheel drive bracket?

because it doesn't have provision for the rear wheel drive engine mount bracket off the block

oh sorry, you meant the 20v bracket needs to be modded to fit near the RWD engine mounts, ya ive ground away a small part of it and it seems to fit now. cheers for your info
