Thanks J-d. Its the Aussie made one from ebay. Cost about $400 plus freight from memory about 3 years back. He does them with duck wings too. Only thing that was annoying was finding gas strut ball mounts with an m6 thread as somehow he has managed to put m6 there for those and not M8, but otherwise it fitted fairly well. The hinge holes in the body were filed oval to fit it somewhat. Its a bit uneven in places and I shot the edges as straight as I could without changing its overall look too much. It was just guide coated once and then primed heavy blocked and painted.

And even saying that I'm noticing shrink marks in mine through the 2pak. You just cant win with it.

Cheers for the pointers Matt, I am tossing up whether to go FPR for the street car as the hatch is starting to go and its the only part of the car that wasn't really worth fixing

Yeah fibreglass sucks. But it doesn't rust, and ae86 was not intended to sit still and be stared at.

Got the hatch on and pretty close to adjusted today.

Also got my 3.583:1 F gearset from scifleet. Last one outta Japan apparently.

In Brisbane mate. The hatch came from ebay a few years back. Cant find him there any more.

Spoke to the FPR bloke the other day, apparently he is just moving at the moment and will be offering parts again within a few weeks.

The guy doing the hatch, is that the same guy that was doing the repro wings as well? There was some on eBay a while back but haven't seen anything for ages
