"Not all commodore drivers are wankers, but all wankers drive commodores"
HAHAHA
"But they cannot dominate like they did with the Godzilla car. We want them to be competitive and challenging to win races, but they cannot dominate."
Funniest shit. I can imagine nissan coming out with some pimped-out R35 and just decimating all cars.
And jesus christ, imagine the LFA competing... Falcodore's would really have to step up their game.
It will be a generic chassis, engine, and suspension set up, only body panels, and set up will differ between the cars.
I may be wrong about engines though.
engine maybe this from the GT1
Specification of VRH35Z
V=V engine configuration R=Racing H=The eighth of the alphabet = Eight cylinders
Cylinder Block: Aluminum
Aspiration: Twin Turbo (IHI)
Valvetrain: DOHC, 4 Valves per Cylinder
Displacement: 3496 cc
Power: 588 kW (800 PS)
Torque: 784 Nm (578 lb ft)
OR is its cant have boost on tap it could be the VK56DE
and lets have a stab that it will look something like:
cant wait to go to bathurst in 2012 to see the tears fall from the boagans![]()

I am pretty sure that all the engines will remain the same across the grid........As Gunner said, only body panels and individual team setups will vary.
dont fool yourself thinking nissan will rock up with a track R35......that just wont happen. All the cars will be the same under the shell to keep things "fair" making setups and driver skills the thing that will win races...
its apparently going to be based off of a "maxima"
i think if i were nissan i would bring my own technology, which they are allowed to do. they also have the option of staying with the tried and tested V8 engines ford and holden use now.
I dont think the cars will be the same under the skin, yeah i get there are guidelines etc to be followed and parameters to be worked within,
but NISMO ( considering they are fulling backing this venture ) with their wealth of knowledge and motorsport R&D will bring the "NISMO" game so to speak.
i cant really see the point of introducing a new manufacturer if the car is going to be exactly the same as the holden and ford but with a different skin.
But hay, we will all just have to wait and see... or wait for the rumours
but i bet my bottom dollar it will be a nissan engine under that hood, its just wrong if its not really
im thinking this will be the car
2013 nissan altima/sendra/maxima
engine will be capped at 5l, as are the holden ford variants.
