Does anyone know the distance from the back of the valve to the outside edge of the throttle bodies? I mean the face of the TB that the velocity stacks bolt up to. I'm trying to simulate the engine in a program but I don't have a spare head with me at school.
Thanks![]()

some of these numbers just don't seem right...
11.15 + 12 = 23.15, divide by 2 we get 11.575 and half of it is adopted as around 5.7 cm = 2.39 inches. This settles the engine head's inlet.
Then there is a intake manifold gasket which is as thick as 0.41 cm = 0.161 inches
And each individual throttle is 14.25 cm = 5.61 inches
Finally the plastic "Intake Pipe" closest = 13 cm, furthest = 21 cm, therefore average = 17 cm = 6.69 inches
If he average the port face to valve, why did he divide by two again? And, is the throttle body really that long?
At any rate, using his figures, I get a valve to throttle body blade/face (dunno which) of 203.6cm, which actually does seem plausible.
I will check it myself

I was just quoting him from the website BTW, his words not mine.
Any luck with this Sam?
I got 205mm off the middle valve off close to the inside radius, not super accurate though
