hi all
up for offers/swaps i have my very unique pride and joy. i have not seen another ms123 crown modified to old school jdm style in australia.
its a 1984 model toyota crown. auto 2.8l injected 6 cylinder.
its sitting on jdm style 'modena' 3pce rims with plenty of stretch, dish and camber in the rear, not so much on front.
it has a full sound system. pioneer head deck with 2 4" in dash, 2 6.5" in rear parcel tray running off a pioneer 2 channel amp and a 12" earthquake boxed sub and amp in the boot.
has complete original interior but has a few scuffs here and there.
i have put vip style black curtains in it.
nice little jdm duck wing
has extractors into a 2.5" exhaust to the back with a single "drift" pipe tip at the back. loud but a very nice note!
i have a full 1jzgte vvti single turbo engine, loom, computer and gearbox to go with if the right price is offered (will sell as full package for around $5000 but less just for car).
has front and rear aircon with a fridge in the parcel shelf which all works very well!
recent new waterpump
cons:
has some rust that will need adressing soon (if i dont fix it before hand), the front windows have electrical faults in them and do not work properly. a sparky will be able to fix it. has a crack in the windscreen but is hardly visible from the outside and has a fair bit of play in the steering.

i am not too desperate to sell it because it is the best car i have ever owned and i will miss it to bits if i let it go. so i will only let it go for the right price or possible swap. atm im looking for around $4000ono for car alone.

Few q's.. I may be interested if things sound ok, have not seen something like this for a while..
What is it lowered on or are they cut springs?
Can you share pictures of the rust areas? (To tell if they are they needing weld-ins or able to just wire away & treat)
More pictures of dash area/door cards, boot, engine?
Being an 84 is it a 5M-GE or 5M-E single cammer?
You missed rego and KM's on it
With steering going do u think it will need a new rack/reconditioned?
Service history of engine if any?

1. cut springs... cannot get coilovers in it without major mods to front suspension. quoted $350 for full set of custom made springs.
2. not without taking the car appart... if your interested come see it

4. its a 5m-e... the motor that WONT blow its head gasket

6. been told its the tierod idler arms (steering box setup, not rack and pinion)
7. it has all the owners manuals but have not studied it. its due for a service now.
