Will a body kit fit stock ae86 brackets??

im wanting to buy a body kit for me 83 levin but was just wondering if i need to buy different brackets at all? or will the fit straight onto the stock ones?

And honestly depends on what type of body kit and where from.. Genuine from Japan or copy stuff?


Cable tie is still 100% effective or custom brackets if stock don't work..

Most fibreglass bumpers use the later model bumper mounts, but much cheaper to just re drill and cable tie or make up some brackets from some RHS.

well i was going to buy a ebay kit but picked up a different one over the wknd. side skirts seem pretty wide though, might not suit see wat happens i guess

ymine is from empire aero he sells on ebay too, i had a look at the back of the bumper and cant work out how the brackets would mount, dmax copy.
