Default New Toyota 86 or Renault Clio rs 200

Well I'm in the market for a new car and I'm tossing between the 86 and a Renault clio rs 200...I can't decide.

Reason being I'm not after a turbo, huge power or 6 & 8 cyl.
What I want both these cars offer small, light, nimble and something that is just fun to drive.
    The 86 philosophy basically.

Pros and cons that has me divided are.

Clio is coming out end of the month as aposed to the 86 in June....I want something now!

Clio is more dear but has factory recaros and brembos

Both on par with kw but clio is fwd.
This dosnt bother me as I have an ae86 which is why i would love the new one...livin' the 86 lyf yo!

Personally I like the look of the clio better.

The 86 is gonna be a better platform for tuning and aftermarket parts.
The clio is just gonna be harder to obtain parts for...but really all I want to upgrade first would be an exhaust system..

Im expecting a biased opinions so soo flame away

Heres a review of the clio

Before you knock the clio though do some research its only got top reviews..just never been marketed in Aus that much.
    MOPAR or no car!

Get your clio now = come June you'll be wishing you got the 86 instead.

I don't know why this thread is here, if you need a car now and your saying you like the Clio more then what is there to decide?

He really secretly wants the 86 and wants people to tell him to get that so I can do that

Get the 86, and just drive your 86 for now, or get the clio now because I think the 86 will be disappointing unless Australia gets the same spec as japan.

If you have ever worked on a renault i very much doubt there would be a need for this thread...and euro cars are expensive to service and maintain. my vote the 86 but each to there own

with the name "clio" make sure you wear your blouse while driving it... oh and it looks rubbish aswell. ( you did ask )
Oh and also, renault's are a bitch of a car to work on, pay a rip off euro price tag, then get stung for spare parts...
