Default Sr20 in e70, radiator setups

    Evening gents

my top radiator hose (s13SR20det) is more bent than the nations capital, no matter how i chop, its a poor fit... needs to be a shitload lower

for those who have built/setup SR20's in e70's, what radiator/ magical foreign radiator hoses did you use?

oh, and forget mounting the radiator lower, it already fouls on the castor rod brackets

In one of my sprinters, the radiator support is further forward, so a standard hose fits in.

However the sprinter that still retains the factory radiator support, I got the hose housing that bolts to the head near the CAS cut and welded a curved tube in there to sit the outlet further back and across, then just used any old bit of hose.

So basically we just cut and my mare tigged it to work, I can get pics if you really want.

what radiator are you using? if your using the *e7* radiator the easiest way is to take the std copper rad to a rad shop and just ask
them to bronze the top rad outlet onto the other side. then you just need a small straight peice for the top hose.

i took it to my local rad shop and they did it for free, so cant imagine they would charge much to do it

I think his outlets are on the correct side, just the outlet on the rad and the neck on the motor are almost underneath each other.

really? cant help with that one. other than maybe taking the top outlet off the engine and cutting it and having it welded in a different spot. or having it welded shorter
mine was directly inline with about 15cm gap between top outlet and rad outlet.
