Default Yet another problemb :/ bad missfire

Okay this time i searched before posting. None have the same symptoms as the problemb we have.

16v 4age that has cut and shut manifold. Standard fwd computer

Okay so the car idles fine
But when ever your on the gas it just missfires off its head and goes no where. Backfires out the exhaust heaps and sounds like antilag basically.

    Checked plugs and cleaned them.
    Plugs all getting spark.

Injectors are all getting a pulse and timming is fine. Not advanced or retarted at all.

Any ideas or any other things to check? Cheers

does the timing change at all after you turn the car off? check the wires from the dizzy leading into the ecu are around the right way, quite common for people to have them the wrong way. car will still start but when you accelerate the timing drops back below zero

I checked timming when motor was off. Dont have timming light atm. Will get one tomorrow from work.

If you bring the revs up slowly its fine. But when you kick it in the guts it starts misfiring badly. Almost asif ignition is not advancing

Fuel pressure , kink your return line...

Check timing, if excessively rich try your map / 02 sensor.
