Hillzy - The coilovers i got can be welded on to any hub. i just pulled out my struts and chopped them so i could weld the base height sleeve at the bottom. i'm still running the stock corona brakes. If you bought the setup 2nd hand with AE86 hubs already welded on then of course you would need ae86 brakes and steering arms

Assailant - yeh the wagon rides as good as my silvia! corners so well and steps out in the wet if I want it to. Open diff makes it a bit sketchy when sliding. some of the bushes have been replaced by the previous owner. when i pulled out the pan hard rod to have it made adjustable it had brand new fulcrum bushes in it. wouldn't be surprised if there were alot more things like that done on her.

i'll post pics soon. Jap fender mirrors are on. I've been working on the new wheels lately too. They're coming along.

See what happens. I'm actually thinking I'll put the new wheels on this beast and drive it until the end of the year and then sell/swap for an ae86. Always wanted a clean hatchback 86 that I could do the right things to.

The wags is pretty much done.
Here's some pics to explain some progress.

    put fender mirrors on

tried some of my mates wheels to see what sizes i wanted. these 15x8 -10 SSR Super Stars were awesome! perfect fit

decided on these Work Ewing fins 15x6.5 -25. they were shit condition. black and green painted on them, chrome centers were flaking and oxodised. had center caps though. cracked them open and got some barrels spun up

the inner barrels took some work. time had not served them well and the brake dust was a bitch to get off. pretty happy though at the end result. i put 2k clear over them to keep the brake dust from setting in again.

after cleaning everything else up, drilling, sanding, grinding, polishing, new nuts and bolts and piecing them all together, the old girl looks like this now
the final wheels sizes ended up being 15x8.33 -6

yep...i'm pretty fuckin happy right now

I'll have a look for some pics dude. Have you got the plastic base for them or is it nothing but wires and a rod at the bottom?
