Gday,
well finally got my hands on my first AE86, and i must say what a great little car it is! I am curious however, as to what they are worth? Ill list the parts and maybe someone could give me a rough estimate!
- 4age bigport conversion with JDM T50
- 2.5 inch exhaust catback with an aftermarket 2-1 manifold section
- Coilovers at front with adustable camber tops
- Whiteline adjustable swaybars front and rear
- All bushes looked to have been replaced with aftermarket
- King springs and shocks up back
- Still running ADM diff
- Body is in reasonable condition, with a bit of rust around the rear hatch window
- Interior seems to be in good condition and to my surprise everything works
i think thats it!
cheers

Its worth whatever you paid for it...
5k+ pending condition. less if it's poor up to 10 if it's ridiculous mint.
It's worth whatever the last person paid for it.
if your trying to find out what its worth for an insured agreed value you just have to tally up what all the cars mods are worth etc.
like others have said its worth what somebody is prepared to pay for it, there are some 86's on car sales with huge price tags that have been sitting around for sale for ages, not saying they arnt worth it but people will only pay what they think its worth to them.
my 86 is priceless to me... im sure some others feel the same about their 86's

I'm not trying to be mean or rude here, depends on how you word this, lets be realistic, on paper sprinters are only worth around $1000, but like everyone says it's only worth what people are willing to pay, my torana for example is worth about $1200 on redbook but if I was to sell it I'd put $40 000 on it, so depending on condition i'd say the $5000 is what I would sell it for if I had it, also depends on what state your in aswell as qld prices are higher then sydneys for example.
Sorry for the rant lol I love sprinters but hate how much you pay for a 30 yr old corolla.
JAPANESE DOMESTIC MARKET AS F*CK!!! hmmm, when you prenounce it properly, it sounds gayhow bout that.
Put it for sale and then you will find out... I guess everyone wants to know they got a good purchase, and the point of this thread..
One thing i've learnt with cars, electronics and houses there is always a "better" deal you find after you have parted with your cash. Your better off not looking / asking and just be happy with what you now own. I hate how many people feel really happy with their car until someone pipes up and says you paid too much.
or people who say I paid $3000 when they really paid $3900 so they look like some super bargain hunter
or the people on ns.com and boost cruising who get a 10k loan
buy s14 or whatever, the day they buy it for sale sign in the window - for sale for more than they paid or swaps and then they briefly own, swap and sell every half cocked sports car in the 10k category

Garage sale http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/fo...3-autumn-sales Specials on front end kits - pm me
I do the I got a bargain pitch all the time but only to the wife....
I'm sure that is acceptable tho
