    Default Torgue Settings?

Just wondering if the 16v Bigport 4AGE Tappet Cover has a torque setting on the bolts?

    er...no...

if its leaking, and the gasket is in good condition, its not tight enough...

its only like a m4 bolt if that, dont swing off it.

firm but not tight...as they say

No torque setting as such. As a M6 nut/stud, the default setting is about 4 - 8 ft.lb depending on strength. But on a cam cover, only enough to make the seals squish a bit.

When I had an apprentice, I used to clamp a few 6mm bolts tight in the vice. I would then give them a 10mm socket and ratchet, and tell them to turn the heads till they snapped off. So then you know, on a real car they should not be as tight.
