You'll also need to swap the pinouts at the ecu as they are allot different. Not impossible to do, but i'd be asking myself if it is worth the effort.

Would I be better off buying a aftermarket ecu an if so what would be the best one to buy??
Adaptronic and haltechs are what i'd recommend using... Pm anthony from kaizen if you are keen for an adaptronic.
So a blacktop and a silver top ecu won't just plug in the same Matt?
No , different sized connector for the power plug as such, and different spot for a heap of the pins. Most people buy a blacktop loom + ecu to swap them over.
Silvertop auto is different again from silvertop manual.
20v Silvertop Manual Pinouts
20 Silvertop Auto Pinouts
20v Blacktop Pinouts
Do you want the open quads for the sound? An enclosed plenum for factory length trumpets will yield a higher HP than running them open. But longer trumpets usually helps with HP, but you need to drop the factory air box
