MAP sensored ST ITB's

Ok this question could well have been answered a million times.

But just want to know what’s involved with changing silver top itb’s to use a MAP and air temp sensor?

The thing is I want to use a Haltec to run the thing and I see they sell MAP and air temp’s

So is it simple to change to MAP is my question. Even a link would be great.

from what ive found from 2 seperate haltech tuners (dont know if others do the same thing...) is that they use the MAP sensor only for altitude correction and the tune is only off the TPS and air temp sensor. Im still sceptical but im assured this is the only way to tune 20v's with the haltech.

I think the computer would mostly use the TPS for load, and the water temp sensor as the major correction factor. Then MAP sensor for very minor altitude correction, if you could bother. And air temp sensor for minor correction, and some people don't bother.

But it's a good idea to have everything hooked up before you see the tuner, just to keep him happy. (I say him and not her, because there are no female tuners).
