I have been looking for an ae86 in Tassie without much luck. I always wanted one since I got my drivers license but didnt have the money own and maintain one. I started working this year and I was hoping to finally get one for daily use and have some fun with it. I found this car yesterday while doing some random searching on google.
I am new to this forum and would appreciated any input and advise with buying an ae86 and maintain the car in tiptop condition. Thanks

Budget? I know of one for sale..but it's far from basic..
7 to 8k would be my budget. But I don't mind spending a little more to avoid extensive repair cost down the road.
I am also considering interstate seller if there is a good deal. Is the cost to get the car back to Tassie expensive?

I noticed some of the cars on sale are either not registered or with a registration that is going to expire soon. Pardon me for my ignorance but I am wondering if it will be difficult to register a car that is rather old and that is fitted with mostly 3rd party parts. I just came here from another country to work so I do not know much about the system here. I would really appreciate any kind soul who could explain to me the process or direct me to the resources to know more. Thanks
I managed to find out about the registration process and transportation of the car from interstate. I just waiting for a car to come by for me to buy it
