Davo's KE70 slider

hi all,
thought i should show you all my first corolla. im pretty happy with it for my first ke. i wanted something to get into drifting with and this come pretty much set up ready to go.



Car info:

Engine:
- 4AGE bigport with tvis removed
- hks 272 cams
- extractors exhaust etc
- and yes i do have a filter set up for it, just not on for the pics.



Suspension:
- front is s13 coilovers with ae86 camber tops, with s13 brakes and s15 lowers
- at the moment still trying to sort something out for the back as my mate theived the old setup for his new rolla,
so looking at going falcon choppies and commodore short stroke shocks. since it will only be used on the track i dont see it too much of a problem.

Running gear:
- t50 box
- s series locked diff

other stuff:
- 14x6 watanabe rip offs on the front and some sort of meshies on the back..
- the colour is r34 GTR grey

so plans for it at the moment are get the rear suspension done and then go have some fun.
while waiting for wakefield drift matsuri later this year, hopefully will be gettin onto the sutton skid pan for a few sessions beforehand.
still need to sort out a car trailer for it since its unregistered and with these modifications its not going to be registered any time soon.

Cool Ke, did you buy recently? Seen it on gumtree awile ago and was semi interested. You near Canberra?
I have some lowering springs and short stroke agx shocks to sell if your stuck

yeah i got it last weekend, my mate was the one advertising it but its a little hard to sell without rego.
so i was after a track car and this was just sitting at his place so i jumped on it.
deffinatly so much happier driving a ke than a silvia like everyone else out on the track.
yeah how much you looking for spirngs and shocks?? i have a set of springs that may fit gotta test fit them this weekend but if that goes bad i'd be keen.

You should do a few hill climbs in it. They are held once a month next to Sutton skid pan. Next one is Sunday 26th August . It is fully subscribed because it is a 2 lap special . But the next one in Sept will be a normal climb with a up to 60+ field. There are a quite a few Toyota's running these event spread throughout the classes.

yeah sounds good, hopefully i can have the car ready for the september event. it doesnt really pass on the noise levels at the moment. its just a strait through with one hot dog so fairly loud. ive been around there a few times theres some good cars rock up there.
how often do they run the two lap track? ive only ever seen it run the single.
