Just make sure the engine isn't hot and maybe buy a oil filter tool and a swivel type ratchet, I use that at work and seems to get most oil filters if they give me any trouble.
as title says filter is a bitch to get of as my headers dont let any wrench or anything get at it,i change it regulary and 8 out of 10 times its really stuck on,
everytime i oil up the rubber o ring on the filter and i use my hand and a rubber glove to tighten it,yet its a slut to get off,i thought oiling the rubber was to
prevent this?is there something others do that im not?its not a huge problem but fuck it hurts lol

Screw driver and hammer, punch it threw and turn it with the screw driver.. Use to happen to me all the fucking time too! Then I learnt to not tight it up hand tight because that was still to tight!!
Just put it on sensible tight, wrist tight, don't even use your forearm muscles lol.
dose
Having not seen your headers its hard to say what can get in there and what can't... but i change mine with a 1/4" ratchet with one of these bad boys.
But yeah a screwdriver through the filter is the option i used to use.
Oil on the gasket stops it gripping when you tighten it and therefore leaking because it has kinks in it.
Thats similar to the one I have for work but essentially works the same way

You're over tightening it, you don't need a rubber glove for grip, it should just be spun on, then a quick nip up with your fingers.
I also have the same oil filter remover as pictured above for other peoples cars that over tighten them too, works a treat.
thanks guys
