ASI radiators off ebay, lots of people run them and there cheap, havent had an issue with mine
Yep I run the same one too, never had any problems in a number of cars..
If you can take the window trim off, youre more than skilled enough to take out the window. If you have the screw in window securing doovies, almost any silicone adhesive product will do the job.
I used Simson adhesive, but your sika products, bond and seal, bostik etc will work fine too...
Thanks for feedback much apprieciated
I tried the asi one and it fitted like shit, the lower and upper mounts were in the wrong spot. Are there any suggestions for a 2row aftermarket copper core rad?
Damm i was to purchase a asi one too. is there any chance there are different mounting points between models like levin to trueno etc.
how far were they wrong?
Ive had a few with the mounts welded on a bit crooked, but nothing worth complaining about.
If it doesnt fit, send it back and get another one....
I just bought a asi radiator. i had to trim the bracket down which connects the top and bottom taks of the rad as it wouldnt fit in the gap of the rad support panel. then i notived thst the bottom rad tank sits hard against the lower rad support panel so ill have to get the lower mount pins cut off and welded into the correct position. cheap radiator cheap quality
If high quality was important then you should have bought a Koyorad.
Anyhow, most after market aluminium radiators are pretty iffy. The zz one I had allowed the factory thermo fans to bolt up, but with a half inch gap all the way around, rendering them useless in that application.
