1982 series 2 T18, mint!
OK, just bought this a couple of weeks ago but I need to buy a car trailer to tow my other T18 and just bought a 4wd so I don't need 3 money pits 2 is more than enough, haha.
So it is a 1982 series 2 T18/TE70 corolla, it does have 380,xxxkms but presents and now certainly drives like one with a quarter of that, the paint looks near factory finish which I would say would have been resprayed at some point in it's life especially being red, haha. Still all original car nothing modified by myself and only thing on it is the tow bar which looks like it's never been used anyway, haha.
It does have a little rust in it but nothing structural and nothing serious for a 30yo car, well nothing really compared to some other examples, this car looks to have been very well looked after through its life not like most old toyotas these days where people just abuse them.
Since I have got it I have replaced the following,
Front lca bushes and ball joints
front castor rod bushes with better ones (couldn't find any that had to be ordered in so found good ones)
Rear trailing arm upper and lower bushes
Panhard bar bushes.
So pretty much every bush throughout the car.
New shocks front and rear as well.
Engine parts replaced are
Points
condenser
dizzy cap
plugs
oil filter
fuel filter
all engine and driveline oils
air filter
alternator belt
A/c belt, A/C works but not cold, it is cooler than without it on but I would say just needs a service and regas which I may do for extra
So since I've had it i've already spent 1k on it and lots of time!
Fixed the rear window now, just looking at drivers one as it looks to be the same problem just the linkages out of place.
After $3200, if I don't get that I will keep it till I get my license back.

These are the only bits of rust in the car, and all very little really, all next to a 5c coin for an idea of how small they are.

Just regassed A/c and it's ice cold! registering negitive 3 degrees at the vents, Fixed the rear window but front window needs a new regulator/winder but cheap and easy to replace I just don't have the time.

Work wants it out from there haha, I will take $2500 still with rwc but firm on this.
