I'll come round and hav a look man. Wired a few corollas now with different engines. Including my f20c lol. Can hav a crack at it if u want
Just posting this up for my mate who is doing his 20v swap into his ae86 at my place, he underestimated the wiring side of the conversion and needs a little help with a few things that are also beyond me (I dislike wiring)
If there's anyone local that wouldn't mind giving us a hand one weekend and coming by to talk shit and sink some beers that would be awesome as this conversion has come to a stall and we need things to get on track again.
So if your confident with wiring up a silvertop with an adaptronic and don't mind lending a hand please help this individual out before one of us cracks
(he is happy to hook up some brew/cash for your valiant efforts)
cheers'

That's half the problem Matt, he got a patch loom from Anthony, but its confusing as fuck because the adapt plugs have different colored wires than what it says in the adapt manual and its hard to trace them to the 20v harness plug because the wires have been siliconed into it and its hard to tell which pin they are in. This set-up was bought probably 3 years ago now and we aren't sure how to set-up the wiring for the coilpacks and map sensor since silvertops don't have these from factory

Ant is approachable , send him a pm and pending what has been done to the loom i'm sure he'll be able to help if you take it to him etc...
Continuity test will show you what wires are what and go off pin position instead of colours...
Yeah I've suggested to him to call up Ant to see what is going on....(if he does or not, that is up to him)
That's true, can pull out the multimeter, but its still confusing (for us anyway) Its not just the adapt, there's a few other things that we would appreciate some guidance on also..

Whilst it is good to learn and all, sometimes it is easiest to pay someone who knows what they are doing... Plus you'll still need it tuned as well.
Uve got my number man. Just let me know when he comes round.

Matt - we have a fair idea of what we are doing, and we are big on DIY, paying someone isn't really an option atm for him. In all fairness he has done a 16v conversion and wired that up before many years ago with little experience so we aren't total noobs. I just think its a case of believing that it would be a case of plugging the standard 20v loom into the patch loom and not much more, but as it stands it doesn't appear so simple, plus there is other stuff that needs sorting before its ready for a decent tune, basically we just want to get it running.
Brett - if he decides he wants a hand I will give you a buzz, pm me your number again champ.
