    Default Jais gze build

Hey guys, thought it was about time i posted up my ride as i will be starting work on it soon..

alittle bit about me, my names Jai, i live on the Gold Coast and ive had celicas all my life, mainly st16x's

    GT2

    GT4

And as much as i loved celicas, i finally bought a ae86

Aus spec car with 4agze from an AE101
ssr mk3 rims with poo offset
    back breaking coilovers
    d2 camber tops
    whiteline bars all round
was told it has a "supra" gearbox..
brand new exedy heavy duty clutch
    T series diff
    stock interior

so thats pretty much it, shit all rust in it.. will be attacking that before i paint it obviously. goes like a rocket and is very fun to drive as a daily..

    plans are;

    swap front end to trueno
    fix rust
    new rims
    paint
    interior
and enjoy it in that order

    freshly painted engine bay

    Cheers.

Great base to work with! That GT4 also looks great. Has that been moved on?

That black GT4 is sex, I've always loved the ST162. Would love to have a good rally inspired project GT4 one day. Those OZRacing wheels look amazing on it.

Oh and the 86 looks like a good place to start to, haha.

played around swapping the front end today.. what should of been simple was a pain... intercooler piping was in the way bolts snapped guards didnt line up etc etc.. sigh..

Got all the wiring sorted so indicators and parkers work as they should.. haven't got the pop up lights working as they hit the intercooler piping when they flip down ... going to get a new front mount and new piping soon tho..

Also picked up new wheels, watanabes -4 look alikes i think the are BR's... need a paint but fill the guards better then the current wheels..

will try and get bonnet, sideskirts and rearbar on tomorrow..

    Cheers.

Thanks mate, i got a week off work so thought i would get something done..trueno swap did cost a bit.. have been collecting parts for awhile when they pop up cheap tho..

Have finially named my car, nemisis... mainly because im sick of working on it already haha such a nice day and im stuck painting and sanding .. hopefully it will all be worth it in the end..

Paint went on like glass so happy with that.. (note; rear bar is just sitting on there, thats why it looks weird lol)

next on the list of things to do is refurb these wheels

going to paint them the new mazda charcoal metallic as ive got it sitting here..

    so whats left...

    Re-assemble
    fit and paint sideskirts
    paint panda
    paint wheels
    new fmic/piping
    new radiator
    finally enjoy it?

    Cheers
