hey guy, have been thinking a bit about the colour i deffenatly want to paint it and i was thinking of going an off white but still with the pink wheels,
heres a photoshop:

note: this is only a very quik photoshop to get the basic idea lol


maybe even with black bolt ons??

Man you're seriously wasting your time trying to somehow get a 4AF (I'm guessing you weren't actually meaning a 4AFE because you were talking about carbies before) into this thing. You'll have to go to the same or more effort than an a 20v. You know they have a thermostat integrated onto a block at the back of the head also, so you'll also need a make up a custom water system.

Have you ever driven a fresh 4AC? They're a good engine when they're fresh, everybody loves to diss them, but most people have only every driven ones which have already clocked over 250,000km's.

I know my 4AC does better than some 4AGE's out there. And when you look at it on paper you'll gain 9kw with a 4AF over a 4AC. Its really not worth it when the conversion will cost you about 2-3 times as much, seeing as you'll need a custom water system, custom distributor relocation, custom extractors & exhaust.

I'd also say, I have no worries driving my 4AGE AE71 around on my greens. My conversion is clean and neat, engine no. is on the papers and I seriously doubt I'll ever get picked up in it. If you drive like an idiot though, you'll get hammered by the cops, I still don't think they'd realise my engine isn't factory though. I know a lot of others that drive 4AGE AE71's & KE70's, and they've never been picked up for the engine, been defected for other things, but not the engine.

One last point. Power steering is awesome. Do it.

golberg: already way ahead of ya man lol, my bro and my dad worked everything out and said its a waste of time, and do any of ur mates live in penrith?? because we have rta defect setups here like 1nce a month(at random times) and they have engineers to help find the defects and im not risking it as i have already lost my licence twice and not palning on it happening again,

not sure wat ill be putting in it now, but was thinking of going a 7k just because iv never seen it done before lol,
