    Default Plasticky guard thingy? (`_´)ゞ

    Okay so I no this is going to sound like a dumb question and I'm pretty sure I already no the answer but is this black bit of plastic ment to go behind the front quarter panel?

    yes. but most people get rid of it when they change their suspension. its not really needed
    stroked 2L ca18-ae86 in the build...eta xmas 2012?

    they do help in some ways, like they will stop the buildup of road poo in the lower section of the front 1/4 panel and could also direct air out of the wheel well, so unless its fouling your wheels then leave them in.

    Agree with Geoff ^^^^, mine are removed, and the front edge of the door gets filthy without them,,,, and for what ???? No reason besides fitment, no to have them.

    yeah, road grit gets flicked up by your wheels and gets stored in all the crevices (and around the looms etc that all run along the guards), that in turn gets wet and retains moisture and can eventually start helping rust form

    I was going to say RUST anyone!? It should somehow be ethically binding they people do not remove parts from an AE86 that inhibit the cars deterioration...

    Well I do not want rust so they will stay on but I'm having trouble getting them to fit the only way I can get them to fit is like
    If I try to put them behind that metal arch where the tabs are the holes don't line up at all?
