    Hi Josh,

For sure man! Hit me up next time you go to Hemmant. Tell me how you go with the axles. I might be able to help you out there.

I hope everyone weathered the storm ok. I've finally got power back on after 3 days of living like Bear Grills. It's great to be back in the 21st century!

Hi Matt. I'll actually be in your area either this Saturday or the next. Do you have a lead on some 25mm axles?

Thanks Joe - I'm very pleased with it. My other project is a Civic.. but it's very different from what you're probably thinking

Josh - I live in Currimundi

Saturday sounds good. I might be out during the morning, waiting to see what the weather will do, but more than likely ill be free to catch up.
I don't have any 25mm axles at the moment but I've got a few parts I'm waiting on and I could probably just get some 25mm axles sent over with my stuff, provided you're not in too much of a hurry.

    One step closer!

25mm axles have been in for a little over a week. I ended up getting a mint set off Just JDM and it all bolted together a treat the weekend before last. I also kept forgetting that the handbrake cables were a bodge job using the original drum cables and small U-shackles (one side had actually broken off altogether) so I ordered a shiny new set from Toyota and just fitted them tonight.

I'm now left wondering though.. what's the difference between the drum and disk handbrake assemblies? Mine seems to work fine but it would almost certainly be the original drum one.

    Now back to the interior

How's the car going Josh? I think we need more photos. hahaha
I see dumb people. Driving around like regular people. They don't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they're dumb.

Sheesh, time flies - sorry Matt. Here are some more photos

These arrived a little while ago...

The rears were a piece of cake to bolt on..

New rears bolted in with the front untouched.. fluked the height first go.

Time for the fronts. I seriously did a double-take the first time I saw the ADM front brakes... pretty scary if you ask me. Coupled with the cut springs it was a pretty venerable package.

How the fronts were set out of the box... tucking in mid air and couldn't get the car off the jack, lol.

So I had already bolted the passenger side up when I came across this handy bit of work - a factory 12mm bolt on the left and a 10mm through the right. I don't know what an 'R8' knuckle is off.. but it sure as s**t isn't off a sprinter.

So one set of PS knuckles later...

Nothing earth shattering, yet a massive improvement in my opinion

Hahaha. It's interesting what sort of 'modifications' can be found on an old car. The new suspension looks sweet man. Looks like quality stuff.
I've got some 25mm axles on their way too. I thought it never hurts to have some.
