4a KE20 pig

Some of you know me and my car's so thought i'd chuck up my latest waste of time and money.



This was my daily for a few months, was stock as a rock... i took to it with a welder and a grinder and threw some wheels and parts at it and it somehow turned into a tail happy little street car.... BUT I was worried about getting defected hard! It was a bomb, It was rich all the time, blew smoke in the mornings, diff sounded like an old steam train and the car vibrated like crazy over and the worst part was i put 3 motors in it, 2 gearboxs and 4 diffs and nothing could handle the dry.. But it taught me to drive..

A bloke was interested in it and swapped me his nice original clean KE20 corolla.. Was sad to swap my datsun, but oh well.. i knew i'd end up doing something wicked with the ke20.





well that reliable daily I thought i was getting turned out being worse than the datsun. It overheated, didn't have a fuel gauge... carby was fucked, exhaust broke after attempting a burnout... BUT hey it was all my fault for trying to get it to do a skid

Lasted 4 weeks as a stock KE20.



Ripped everything out



Somehow put the 4a into the ke20 with no legs haha



Had Lolwat come around and help do some things!





Just need to install bride and nardi and carpet and repaint dash and remove all stickers and its done!



It's all done now, the car runs... sits on limiter and bakes those stock 155/80r12's

Now that the engines done, i'll put a Datsun 1200 H165 UTE diff with an AE86 centre into it ( They bolt in, how cool is that... also the h165 is also 1300mm wide, or around that so fits smaller cars like ke20/ke10/r100 etc and is a cheap LSD option thats strong for about 100kw or so )

Ae86 coilovers and JDM brakes and some more castor is what's needed next.... lol!

nice work mate, any more details on what centre fits in the 1200 housing? ive heard of the conversion but apparantly kouki and zenki or what ever they are called diffs have different sized axles.

KE is tuff as!

Anyway time for bigger things so i'm parting the car out ... building something with a 1J or ls1.. not sure what but something that will make more smoke and be more reliable when skidding
