updated cam specs and added head casting number.
I've had some interest elsewhere but both are still available.
Hi guys,
Selling a grumpy 3k engine that came out of my ke25.
According to the previous owner in QLD it was built for use in speedway racing, meaning high revs, but I can't confirm that really.
It's got a giant custom sump - looks to be 4-5L
EDIT - CAM SPECS update: Wade 140-6 grind. 291 in, 296 ex. 238@50 in/ex. Valve lift 0.4305 in, 0.432 ex. Cam lift TDC 096 in, 078 ex. Overlap 26@50, 82 full.
Big port 3k head (confirmed by casting number: 24010-195)
No idea what is inside the block. It could be stock or it could be modded (in particular balanced to suit revs) but for the purposes of this sale lets say its stock.
single carb manifold with what looks to be standard carb - wouldn't like your chances of running it with this beyond starting it
factory exhaust manifold
fuel pump, spark plugs, leads, and all the other ancillaries. What you see in the pics is what you get!
I have never driven the car with it -went straight into conversion- but it started and ran to get it on to the transport truck according to the transport guys.
Also selling the k50 gear box which is bolted to it and unknown clutch & flywheel between.
Can separate the box but definitely prefer to sell as a package
$450 for the engine and box together
or
$350 for the engine + clutch assembly
$190 for the box
Pick-up from outlying Newcastle suburbs
The whole package is currently at the workshop where my car is getting put together and they want it gone this week.
After this weekend it will be coming home and sitting in a trailer at mine which I'm not keen on so take it off my hands!
Contact me (max) via PM or TXT on 0417 453 four two seven. Happy to take txt's up to 10:30pm
PM's are slow...

One week to xmas bump!
Everything still available.
Surely somebody has a ke10 or ke20 rolla that they want to sound like a rotary on idle and scream like a superbike at 8500!
