look on trade me N.Z. guy does bolt on kits i run one in my ae85 na 4age
Ok so I got a ke70, suspensions been completely done, running new -0 offset rims, so it looks dope, now I'm turning my attention to the engine, bog stock 4k , now I've read about people doing the 4age conversion, how ever I just want to work the 4k.
Anyways, was looking into doing a gilmer drive, has anybody on here done one on a 3k,4k or 5k?
i know people are going to hate on this idea and tell me to just do the 4age, how ever would like some feed back on cost, install and practicality.
Cheers guys

why do you want it?
the whole point of a gilmer drive is to provide better grip where a v belt or multi V belt is slipping, this is common in supercharger applications where the belts are spinning at 10 tho + RPM and are getting slip which causes boost drops and spikes, I really dont think your 4k is going to be having any belt slip issues if its stock and if it is you have put the wrong size belt on.
I would suggest spending money else where in stead, if you want to keep the 4k maybe look at doing a carby upgrade instead
Rust is a way of life
Working the 4k is a waste of time.
Even 4age with ecu, exhaust and air filter you will get bored of. But they are cheap.

why not a 5k or 7k upgrade?
