2 1/4" or 2 1/2" would be better suited for a high comp 7age
i wouldn't worry about swapping exhausts as the power differences between a quiet one done right and a loud one done is SFA
Hey guys just removed the old exhaust system from the ke70 and took it for a run with just the manifold. back pressure sucked (so used to driving a rotary no backpressure=no problems) was planning on throwing these hurricanes extractors on and going 2 inch straight through with a flange to switch between a muffler and blast pipes but now worried about losing power to back pressure, I've ditched the idea of putting the extractors on due to the effort needed to put them on considering im building a high comp 7AGE which will be in by the end of the year but still need to put some attention into the current exhaust. what size is going to give me a good flow but no power loss, was thinking about throwing a hotdog onto the 2 inch setup and hoping that does the trick but now thinking to go down a size to 1 3/4 with hotdog. Still aiming to run blast pipes though

the question was relating to an exhaust for a 4k
If you are going 7a just do that... No point dropping $$$ on something to suit the 4k and then doing it again for the 7a

the 4k is in the car now, I'm building the 7A which wont be finished for a long time. the car is my daily driver at the moment but because i destroyed the exhaust due to the car being too low I need to get a new exhaust made otherwise the car cant be used to get me to and from work. It gets taken to the track now though so I want something half decent still.
