Cracking good car. Just drove it up from Sydney to Sunshine Coast two weeks ago, bit over 1000km trip. Ran perfect. Before I left I had it inspected at Meek Automotive (Evo specialists), who gave it a good report. Compression test was good, no rust, no signs of any previous accidents etc. Paint is in great nick, no dents, panel gaps all spot on. Interior is clean and tidy. Engine is unmodified except for K&N panel filter in factory airbox. Running standard boost. Clear title, no money owing. Not on REVS etc.
Major service (timing belt etc) was done at 100,000ms at Meek Automotive (June 2010), comprehensive service history since then with documented mileage. Oil change approximately every 5000kms. Currently at 155,000kms.
Reason for sale is that I just moved up to QLD and I haven't found a job yet. It's amazing how quick you're savings disappear when you don't have a steady income! I'll have to do something about that. In the mean time I am selling the Evo to keep myself financially afloat. I picked up an AE71 wagon for $500 to drive around instead. Bit of a step down I know, but times are tough at the moment.

- OEM top & bottom radiator hoses (brand new - Meek said current ones will need replacing soon)
BAD POINTS
- Minor wear and tear in interior due to age. Driver's seat bolster fabric is a bit worn (not torn), bolster foam still perfect. Small hole worn through in carpet near clutch pedal. Steering wheel a bit worn. Rest of interior is excellent.
- Couple of small paint scratches on rear quarters.
- Couple of scratches on front lower lip.
It's a great car and i'd love to keep it, but unfortunately I can't.
Inspection welcome. I am happy to take serious prospective buyers for a ride, but there will be no test drives without a deposit. Sorry, had too many bad experiences in the past with dreamers who have no money wanting to drive my cars, with no intention of buying.
Negotiable on price. No swaps thanks, already got a new car (mighty 1.6L carby power!).
