The ignition barrel is rated at ~40amps, and wiring everything to it wouldn't be ideal...
The ae86 wiring diagrams are available in the tech area..
Hey guys I have recently brought a ae86 running a ca18det motor the person who built this car has wiring
everything to a switch board that has a switch for each ignition ,pump ,dash and thermos
i have removed all that and fitted a sr20det motor loom and computer all I need to know is how can I wire everything back to the ignition barrel and just use the key to start the car?
Because the switch board is pointless and has a bigger chance at catching fire, playing up, than a normal key does. If anyone has a diagram of the standard wiring from the key and what each wire goes to that would help heaps as I don't want to use the switch panel anymore,
or if anyone on here knows there wirring and is around the western suburbs area Melbourne that wouldn't mind coming out and giving me a hand with it, can supply beers and cash for your help!
thanks a lot guys

Cheers mate I have come to the conclusion just gonna keep the switchboard thanks
I made this years ago but it's pretty shit. It's missing the O2 heater, AAV and injector power supply. It might be missing another wire too.
The car willrun like that but it's not "fully" wired.
and another thing, how well is the car fused off? Where does it draw the power supply from?
S13SR/S14SR? 180 or silvia loom?
