yay just got home with my f series

axles are FUCKING HUUUGE

so ive been a bit lazy theese last few weeks...

anyway, i have stripped the f series of its mounts

also cut the mounts of the s series today so i will be taking them to my uncles shop in the morning to tidy them up and shave them back a bit to allow for the bigger diameter of the f series

will be fabbing up some BIG traction brackets too

should have the mounts all on by the end of the weekend then ill start on the brake caliper mounts

twin calliper / hydraulic handbrake setup should be sick

but yeah i have been fair into it, sometimes i enjoy working on it more than driving it if it all goes smoothly, which it sometimes does suprisingly

got the mounts lasercut so they fit the diameter of the big diff

just gotta tidy up the f diff a bit more and its ready for the mounts to go on

so troy will be coming round this arvo with his i phone so i can measure the angles of mounts and put them back in the right places, well slightly diff as im gonna change pinion angle a touch

then traction brackets will be welded on

happy days, should be all done and in the car by the end of the weekend providing the lasercutters do my mounts at short notice tomorrow lol
