oh yeah and the teins are about 5mm off full adjustment hahaha
haha the photo doesnt really show it as well as it is. only got about 5-10mm clearance on the back and about 15mm on the front. maybe if i cut the arches further on the front![]()
oh yeah and the teins are about 5mm off full adjustment hahaha
I want crossmember at 15mm!
Hahaha ill see what I can do
time for a min update.
last couple of days ive just been doing bits n pieces getting this ready for my first track day at barbs (pretty sure ill be real shit).
ive even modified a sticker ive been meaning to remove to reflect it haha.
made the alu cover for the shifter hole i cut, remounted my fire ext and moved my seat back about an inch and a biut cause it was a min too cramped.
its booked in tomoz morning to have an exhaust made. 3" straight thru
learner as fek
finished the sections to seal off the boot. just cut them out of 1.6 alu sheet.
i went to gogear motorsports to get some new rose joints. those thingfs arent cheap. then took the car to oldies to fit the rosejoint trailing arms.
fitted my jdi steering knuckles today
ebay boot lip
and tyres ready
Hell yeah dude! Best be getting some footage, mad keen to see it! What did the boot lip fit like, keen to get one on mine! Look the goods?
yeah i might try borrow my mates gopro. see if i can do something worth getting footage of hahaha. the ae86 notchback bootlip i fitted was huge and doesnt really suit the car atm. i think it needs at least 15s on it and wider to pull that off. ahwell. i just bought a lil stick on one from ebay. $40 i think haha. itll do.
looking good man, im currently in the process converting my 70 into an sr way behind u though XD
Cheers mate, they're certainly alot of fun n mines just standard
this went in on fri for its exhaust.
i got a 48h permit so i could drive it down. it was deffs alot of fun
exhaust is 3' mandrel bent stainless underdiff with a single muffler at the rear with droopy tip. (i love droop tips)
im quite happy with the sound and actusally picked up a lil power due to the last exh being a 2' muffler bolted to the 3' dump and ending there haha.
then i wasnt happy with how close the dump was to the floor and how much it was heating it up. i wanted to also exh wrap it to radiate a lil less too so i took the dump off, cut the flange off and welded a new longer section to it. then wrapped it
will be fitting a full set of braided lines tomoz n that should be the last of the works it needs, then skids
