So my beloved hachi got rear ended on xmas eve last year and since then it has been sitting in my yard making me sad. I have just got my pay out from the insurance and I'm trying to decide what I want to do with the wreck. I figure I'll stick it here and see if anyone is interested in taking it off my hands. It'll probably stay up until I sell it or get off my ass and fix it/swap all the goodies into something else. Not parting it out, want it all gone if someone is going to buy it. Located in Canberra.
So down to business.
the good:
1983 ADM AE86, silver
4AGZE (afm, probably from AW11) no intercooler (instant boost!)
t-series diff with disc brakes (Kouki I think)
TRD 2-way LSD
Front struts and brakes from a corona
Front and rear sway bars
Thermo fans
CSA meshies
After market steering wheel
Sweet dragon floor mats from repco
the bad:
Has been hit in the rear driver's side and I'm not sure of the extent of the damage (i.e if the chassis is OK). Has been deemed a repairable write off which means it can be fixed and re-rego'd within the ACT.
The paint has seen better days.
Hole in fuel tank from accident.
general notes:
Car has a full interior in average condition, however the center console was replaced by a previous owner so it is not standard. Easily removed.
No radio fitted right now. Have a double din head unit that can be put in but won't fit in the console. Would suit someone looking to build a track car or is after a donor for parts. I absolutely love this car and I am really sad to see her go but I'd rather someone get some use out of it rather than have it go to waste in my front yard.
Price: Open to offers. looking for around $3k
Location: South Canberra

If you love it so much...why dont you get a quote on fixing it...impulse in japan do the rear panel now.
Or track it yourself...fyi still need a price
MOPAR or no car!
Living just over the poverty line and potentially moving overseas next year are both factors in me selling it. If I had the time and money to repair it I would. Its up for sale until I either get something else to swap the parts to or fix it. But currently I need to save every cent and I just can't afford two cars right now. As I said, I'd rather see someone using and enjoying it rather than it sitting in my yard.
still for sale?
Potentially
lol well is it or isnt it haha? you still got all the same parts?
I haven't touched it since making the ad, save for taking the battery out. I'm willing to part with it for a reasonable offer. Not going to part it out though.
still for sale
I still have it, yes.
