Default Tools to purchase for Panel Beating

    Hammers / Dollies

When picking a hammer / dolly the best you can buy are the sykes pickavant range. These are perfect if you are in the trade and use them all day every day. The set you buy will last you from your first day until the day you retire.

However, for the home handy / hobbyist , something middle ground will last you as well the same time.

When purchasing dollies it is reasonably safe to assume that the heavier the dolly the better it is.

    SPOT WELD DRILL BIT
These are such an important tool if you are full on unstitching your panels from your body. A dot punch is needed to start at the centre of the spot weld. You will be left with a surface to weld new/restored panels onto, instead of holes where your drill has gone right through.
