FS VIC - 4AGE 20 valve silvertop long motor
After selling my AE82 club car project, I now have the spare 20 valve 4AGE silvertop long motor for sale.
No manifolds or accessories, just the long motor.
Came out of an auto Levin with 135,000km on the clock, sold by Corolla Spares in Sydney.
$925 delevered is what I paid, $750 is now what I want to get for it. Pick up Clayton VIC.

Sam Q tells me that aside from the inlet manifold, the parts missing from this aren't used in a RWD conversion anyways, so this is just about perfect for someone wanting a silvertop 4age to RWD.

Have you ever had a compression test completed? Did it consume any oil, if any? And roughly what sort of mileage has it done - so he knows if he needs to the major service or not which I bet he will if he purchases it

No compression test done. I purchased the engine for Corolla Spares in Sydney and he sent me video of it running nicely in the engine bay so that was enough for me. He seems to have a good reputation so I took his word for it.
Given I have never run the engine, and it came from a wrecker, no idea on whether it used oil. One would think not.
As the ad states, the engine came out of an automatic Levin with 135,000km on the clock.
If I were putting it in a car I would do a timing belt and seals to be sure, but it may well have already been done. Still cheap peace of mind really.
