    Default ke70 steering racks

Trying to find a reconditioned ke70 rack for my car, i have found a few places that do them but all the ones that are sent to me seem to be wrong. Ive had 5 sent to me now and they all use a much bigger D shaped bush than what my original has. The rack and x-member is defiantly out of a ke70 but all the suppliers tell me I'm wrong and my rack is not a ke70 rack. Whats going on did ke70 change racks at some point? I even have a set of super pro bushes that are listed as ke70 bushes that fit my original rack and x-member but not the new racks. Can anybody help me please?

    Cheers Shea

not sure if this helps but there are a couple of different rack clamps that take different thickness bushes. my early model ke bush was alot thinner than my 86 rack bush and from if i remember correctly my late ke rack bush.

Toyo DIY is showing 2 different gear assemblies in the early model ke70. 79-81 has one type, 81-83 has the second type, which is the same as late medel ke70, 84 etc
