Wrong wheel bearings
So i took my diff centre out and replaced all bearings including axle bearings and seal.
i am now having trouble getting the axles all the way in as the bearings are hanging out by 2cm (i have not changed the diff centre)
The axles where very hard to get out when first pulling it all apart.
They are kouki axles.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Wrong wheel bearings

Sounds a bit strange, can you feel the axles actually start to go into the side gears of the diff ?? Does it have a LSD centre ..

Are the bearings different from kouki to zenki? I remember the bearings on my axles are quite wide, maybe you need smaller width bearings? I could be wrong though..
The difference in bearings is between disc and drum diff's. Drum has single width bearings, disc has double width.
Zenki and kouki disc brake diffs have the same bearings.
made a stupid mistake and forgot to put on the brake caliper mounting plate. it slides over the part of the bearing hanging out and fills the space so you can bolt the end cap thing on.
