Kouki to Zenki front end conversion - 2 Door JDM Trueno

Hello everyone,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but want to know whats involved / what parts I will need to convert/swap a Kouki Trueno front end with a Zenki Trueno front end, and if there are any issues involved?

What I have put together so far is:

Front Bumper + Brackets
Side Indicators (Optional?)
Bumper Indicators
Headlight Covers (Optional?)
Grill
Badge (Both different sizes apparently.)

Was just wondering if anyone has done this and if they have any advice or ran into any issues, even if you have went Zenki to Kouki (or want to ) any feedback would be appreciated thank you!

You'd have to pretty particular about how your car looks to do it! But is be interested in your Kouki bumper, brackets and grill if you'd want to sell them.

Not sure if zenki bumper indicators are the same as adm/zenki levin ones they look similar...also I have a zenki trueno grill for sale. Pm if your interested

So no other issues then? Have heard the Zenki grill doesn't fit the Kouki grill mounting points but have no proof of this. Are the Zenki and Kouki headlight assemblies different perhaps?

Also want to swap Kouki redline tail lights to Zenki 'sprinter' type lights, guessing I have to get both lights, centre garnish and plate light holders. (seeing a pattern here yet

Also yes will be very interested in the Zenki grill in around a month or so if you still have it mclevin cheers.

Ill have a suss if the grills fits. Cant see why they shouldnt

Taillights shouldn't be a problem. They are the same as adm so they should be pretty cheap.

Im guessing youre making a takumi tofu replica?

Nah no tofu stickers for me, always preferred the Zenki styling to the facelift version so thought why the hell not! Would be great to find someone to do a complete swap with who felt the exact opposite haha

Should be a few people out there that would be keen but they aren't too common here in aus. Most seem to import the kouki truenos...start a want to swap thread in car parts wanted section see what happens

Almost have all the parts either here or on route. So far I have:

Bumper+Brackets to match.
Grill
Indicators+Lenses
Wing Indicators (next to headlights)

I still need Black (Zenki) Headlight Covers and of course the Zenki Emblem/Badge.

Question though, with the headlight grill brackets, are they interchangeable? As in, do they unbolt from the headlight itself.
Or would I have to get the whole L/R Zenki headlight assy to have to correct brackets to clip the grill to?
