Painting Exhaust Manifold

whats the best paint to use for painting an exhaust manifold?

i gather ill be fine using the same paint on the gearbox too

I think its $30/ foot iirc.

You can get header/ engine paint from auto pro/ repco/ bursons And it's about $20 a can.. vht I think?

I'd use something different the g/box if I was you bcause the engine paint need to get pretty hot to set properly.

Yeah vht high temp paint, and yeah as said above it need to heat up to set so yeah no good for the gearbox

ended up finding a can of 650 degree motor spray paint...headers should look alot better now

Prep the headers well otherwise it will all flake off.
