Hi guys,
In the process of re shelling my 86. My mate who moved the engine into the new shell didn't pay any attention to where any of the loom was going, and just removed everything. The engine loom was catastrophically messy so I ditched that and replaced with a jdm rwd loom. Now all of that's ok but the 14 pin plug I have is just as messy and has me completely confused. There are wires going everywhere, randomly joining each other an there are 2 relays in the mix, one of which I know is the efi relay.
Ill grab all the photos of it that I have and throw them up.
And before anyone mentions it I have searched for as much info on this as I could and none of it helped.
and this is on some of the loom from the new shell, assuming something from the 14 pin loom connects to these

Thats cool man about the searching side of things, every time I try and search I always end up with a heap of mismatched things. Effectively what you are doing is pretty much wiring the car again from scratch, as all the "4age" wires have been removed
The Fuel open circuit relay is covered
The 14 pin ecu plug is covered
One of the relays is most likely a starter relay, one would be the fuel opening circuit relay as well.
I'll also write a quick guide on the alternator wiring and dash wiring when i get a chance. Another useful post to read is this one here

Thanks for the reply Matt, I'll check the links when I get home from work. I did find that last link you posted but didn't have mch info in regards to the 14 pin.
hopefully I can wrap my head around it tonight.
Just had a quick look at them on my phone, looks to be exactly what I was looking for!! Thanks a lot Matt![]()

Those 2 wires you are holding in your hands are most likely the repair of a broken sensor or extension of wires for one of the factory ones. Continuity test with a multi meter.
