Sunshine coast meet and greet

Hey pals
So lately I've noticed an increasing number of cool Toyotas on the Sunshine Coast.
A few years back we had a pretty close group of like minded dudes that went for drives and tinkered on each other's cars and whatnot. I'm really keen to bring that vibe back!
We have some of the best scenic roads and hills the state has to offer and I'd like to take advantage of that by holding a meet and greet/cruise.
This isn't affiliated with AE86DC as I haven't arranged anything with Matt yet, however I'd like to get some prospect of numbers to attend.
Basically I'm thinking of meeting at a park/botanical gardens, having a few snags and drinks, get some jive talk happening, then go for a decent run out through the hinterland.
Don't be ashamed of what you drive! Even if you borrow your mum's standard Pulsar, I promise you won't be laughed at. The aim of this is to get some community spirit happening, not a jdmstancevibe meet.
So yeah, let me know if you're down for something like this and we shall get the ball rolling!

Sounds like the business. I am fitting the head back onto my motor this weekend and will need a test run through the hills later down the track. I know of some runs in the hills and a few more down on the flat. I've read threads of the old skool Sunny Coast Crew and wondered were they had gone. Sort it out and I'll be there.

I'm always down for a drive, love the roads up there. I went for a run through kenilworth the other weekend was good. I've got the soarer now

Yeah there's always meet ups in Brisbane and nothing up here. I'll be keen when I get my car back on the road.

I'd be keen to attend. It has been a few years since I've seen another ae86 on the road around here (guessing very bad luck on my part), so it'd be nice to see some of the locals.

Radical! We are getting a decent group happening. Remember dudes, this is not about turning up with the coolest car. This is about getting some community spirit happening! Working on each other's cars, going for drives, and just playing Forza and sinking beers and the like. What do you guys think of 1st of September? (Sunday).
