    Exclamation KE70 engine conversion?

Hey everyone. Not sure if I'm in the right forum topic but sorry in advance if I'm not.

I'm wanting to convert my KE70 with a sr20 or 4age and wondering where on the Gold Coast area does this? I am having trouble finding someone that will do the job and will do it proffesionally and mod plate acceptable as it will be my daily drive and need it to not be a problem with registration or roadworthying.
Need it done asap and would like everyones feedback on how much of a job it is and everyone that has done conversions is leaning more to a sr20 or a 4age?

    Thanks everyone.

Really depends on what you want from the car. 4age is fun , but not earth shattering in terms of power. You can turbo one , but the costs skyrocket pretty quickly.

SR20 needs custom mounts and wiring, which keconversions can provide. He can also provide mounts to suit the ke70 xmember too. You'll also need a hydraulic peddle box no matter which way you go.

Kaizen garage would be where i'd start to get the conversion done. and speak to Anthony.

My advice, buy a second car use that as a daily and then convert your ke70.

I have a 600hp skyline that I've built so the ke was going to be the daily. A carby motor seems a bit tempremental for my liking as a daily and wanted to just upgrade to a efi n/a reliable get around.
But thank you matt for you input will re think about my decision.

If it's purely for reliability, not much will get close to a standard well looked after 4k-c to be honest, they will outlast civilisation. For a bit more fun and ease of conversion I would just use a standard 4age for a daily.

I've just fixed the 4k. I shattered the Crank pulley which threw a piece into my water pump pulley which bent that. I just don't like carbys is my only concern on the 4k motor. They can be a bit tempremental at times.
