Default 4AGE surge tank/fuel setup for ke20 conversion

    Hey all

I am converting my Ke20 to a 4age, it will have a stock 4age 16v Bigport in it.
I am wanting to setup my surge tank, I already have a Bosch 070 fuel pump but wanted to know what lift pump i should get?
Also would a 600ml surge tank and standard ke20 fuel lines be big enough?

    Cheers
    Paul

600ml tank is fine (I've used one on a 4AGZE for years). For a lift pump pretty much anything will do. A self priming, low pressure pump is good, for example a Pierburg, but at $150 there are cheaper options.

Unsure about KE20 line size, but the stock Sprinter 6mm lines work fine up to at least 150rwkw and probably much more.

Facet pumps are pretty good but just make sure the pump will be in a good spot to pick enough fuel up from the tank. I had one placed too high from the tank and wouldnt pump enough fuel into the the surge so ended up modifying my ke70 tank pickup for a EFI intank pump. (quiet easy and inexpensive)

Is there a reason why people just don't run a single pump like a Weldon one? It removes the need for multiple fuel pumps and if the pickup is configured properly, there is no need for a surge tank either. Yes they are expensive but add up the cost of 2 pumps + surge and its basically already paid for.
4agte finally finished. 252rwkw with more to come
