Anything around 11:1 comp ratio piston wise will be good.
Smallport pistons would be a cheap upgrade, pretty sure you can get o/s easily. Find a smallport head too as it will be better than any fairly stock bigport and the manifold cut and shut isn't that hard to do if you know someone handy. I've always wanted to use the 7AFE sump and pan on a motor but they only suit 20v blocks, which is obviously not a problem...
