What is your budget. I hope its still not 7k
Hi all, name's Tim, I've been a member on here for a while when i was offered a panda Trueno by a friend of mine for 7K but unfortunately the timing meant i didn't have the money and it ended up being sold to someone else.
Now is a different matter and i'm again looking for either a Trueno hatch or a Mk IV Supra RZ manual in RWC and running condition. RZ's proving relatively easier to find but they are all fubar and the clean ones are best part of 30K now.
Putting it out there on the off chance one of you is entertaining the idea of moving your Trueno on and something else and if its a new 86 i can possibly help since i work in new car sales for a Toyota dealership in Melbourne. I know this is like trying to find a gold plated unicorn at the gates to Atlantis but what the hell, if you don't ask you never know.
Over the next month or so i'll be looking around Victoria but looking like i may have to import at this rate.
Anyway thanks for reading, feel free to PM me if you can help me
Cheers
Tim

MOPAR or no car!
Nah If only I could have that chance now. 15-20K is what I'm budgeting but depends on the car
I have one in SA though
MOPAR or no car!
Sorry, need one in VIC as my work doesn't allow me time to travel. I've been looking for a few months now If i can't find one in the next month or so i'll look at importing.
Interstate car transporters are a option
check out my build thread: http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/fo...-shuttle-wagon
Damn cheaper than shipping fron japan. Hell ill even drive it to vic for the right price.

See if you can get onto Pro K (his name is Pramodh), he's imported some of the best 86's into Australia in the past and he'd definitely be able to find you a mint one for that price. Great guy to deal with if you're a serious buyer.
You'd just have to dig up his contact details, they used to be found on hachiroku dot com dot au but not sure if they'd still be there.
Dont expect him to find you one over over night either

They definitely don't come up in the auctions very often for reasonable cars, I went through ProK and it took around 4 months from when we started looking to when the car went to Vicroads for rego. Worth it in the end though, zero rust and ended up under budget which was nice.
