Mmm I think the 86 was a bit before the cd era but nonetheless a very tidy install
Just installed this OEM Toyota 6 Stacker unit over the weekend. Needed a 'slight' bit of modification to fit but looks very original sitting in there I think

This is awesome man! Kinda like the hatch equivalent of the coupe I have arriving soon. Wish mine had the black interior but the orange/brown is quite retro. Look forward to seeing what you do with it

Any future mods planned?

Hey ManicVJ/Adam, thought this may interest you! You may or may not already know this anyway, but oh well!
I was browsing Japanese/TRD parts for my daily (ZZE Corolla), and came across what the seats in your car are out of!
They're the TRD option "Sports seats" for a variety of cars - I'd take a guess that they're quite a rare seat/option.
All are out of production.
Here's the link to the TRD Japan site
Just thought it may interest you, as it would definitely interest me

Cheers Jrad! Had no idea, looks like you could actually order ones specifically for the AE86
Has been awhile, plenty of driving/track days etc. Here's a picture from last (long) weekend, best driving road around Tamworth I reckon. Tamworth to Wauchope across the Great Dividing Range (Oxley Hwy). Stopped just west of Gingers Creek halfway point.
Will update soon, also looking for recommendation on Gearbox and Engine oils for a general service (type/viscosity etc.) Has done 186,000km and does not blow any blue smoke either on startup or under accel so rings/seals seem fine. Loving it so far cheers all.
