Hey Joel,
I hear ya about the rear flares, I prefer the full origin guards but postage was going to be a killer so I got the flares and will blend them into the existing panel with fibreglass/bog.
and the inlet manifold is a custom job.
I feel your pain. I have decided to undertake the arduous task of repainting my car and try and fit 14 x 9 -16 SSR MKII's to the rear. I decided to cut out the original rear guards and weld front guards in their place. Now there is HEAPS of room available.
One of the best things for motivation is to do a few hours of work on the car per week. Its better than nothing. Keep up the good work!! I cant wait to see it finished.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways ~ Beer in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ?WOO HOO - What a Ride

Progress!!!!
Front half of the cage is in.
First time I put it in it looked like this
Bare metal, a bit rusted, over all average. I tried to convince myself the outside can be pretty and the inside is all business. That didn't fly, so I painted it white and trimmed the dash to fit.
Almost finished blending in the rear flares.
And I've re-installed my oil cooler, also shortened the braided lines which I've never done before, seems to be ok, I'll know once I get some oil pressure in there.
I'm planning on painting it this weekend if it doesn't piss down, gotta get the turbo manifold back, put the turbo on, connect oil and water lines, make an exhaust, get it wired, then its done, maybe? There's probably more, I try not to think about everything that needs doing, it gets me down.
Also I'm looking for a bee r limiter, I think ignition cut not fuel cut would be nicer to my pistons and I wanna shoot flames.
FLAMES are GOOD![]()

Can't adaptronics choose to cut fuel or spark?

yep. Also allow you to set not only the rpm at which to cut but also set hard and soft limiter. So you could (if you like flames) set the soft limiter considerably (2/300 rpm) lower than the full limiter![]()

Thats an awesome feature, but after talking to alot of people I am pretty sure I am not going to use the adaptronic.
Its that saying about everyone having an opinion like everyone having arsehole's, but in this case all the arsehole's seem to be saying the same thing
